She is my hero
It's been a month. She already went through more than an average adult goes in his / her whole life.
She stood at the door to eternity, but came back to us. She fought ECMO* with the help of wonderful friends, family members and strangers that donated blood for her. She keeps fighting with the help of the amazing doctors and nurses at Children's Cardio Centre in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The way ahead is a long one.
She is full of medicine she still needs to shake out of her little body. She needs to learn from scratch some basic baby instincts - like eating. But she is our fighter and we have no doubt that everything will be ok in the end.
She is our "heart-baby".
